View Down Paseo

The view looking North up Paseo Del Mar epitomizes the Southern California beach community of Redondo Beach. It is a signature scene that I have painted many times, each time a new and unique version emerges. A densely populated coastline and the winding road on the edge of the beach.

Setting the Pole

Excitement and danger come with the job of the foredeck crew. "Setting the Pole" captures this intensity. Some call the foredeck of a racing yacht the zone of death. I've never heard of anyone getting killed on the foredeck, but you get the point.

I used an intence color saturation of Red,White and Blue. This is a spectacular piece with movement. Oil on canvas 24 x 24.
